After spending a day at Cape Lookout courtesy of the National Park Service, I became very excited about painting the Cape Lookout lighthouse. You leave from the Harker's Island visitor center and they drop you on the sound side of the lighthouse. It is not expensive and
a nice facility. There are bathrooms, showers, and a gift shop.
