When
I bought my medical practice from a physcian who
had practiced in Coats I picked up many patients
from Coats. So I took a painting excursion to Coats
to learn more about the area. I was told that this
hotel was a stage coach stop between Fayetteville
and Raleigh. It has since the time of this painting
been torn down.
